Mubasher: Bahrain Bourse (BHB) headed south for the third session in a row amid a rise in trading activity.
The benchmark index fell 0.88% or 9.88 points to 1,117.25 points.
The market saw trading of 1.85 million shares on Thursday, compared to 522,080 shares on Wednesday.
Turnover rose to BHD 1.051 million from BHD 102,930.
The banks sector declined 1.22% as Ahli United Bank retreated 2.44%.
The industrial sector fell 5.16% after Alba went down 5.4%.
On the flipside, the investment sector increased 0.12% as GFH added 4.44%. Meanwhile, Al Baraka Banking Group slid 2.91%.
The services sector levelled up 0.09%, aided by Seef Properties which added 1.11%.
