Mubasher: Bahrain Bourse saw a negative performance in Thursday’s mid-session, weighed down by the fall of commercial banks sector.
The general index fell 0.04% or 0.48 points to reach 1,208.36 points by 11:00am Bahraini time.
The commercial banks sector declined 0.09% as Al Salam Bank, and Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait slid 0.93% and 0.54% respectively.
On the other hand, the services sector was the only gainer by a 0.05% rise after Bahrain Duty Free Shop Complex Co. gained 1.89%.
The market saw trading of 6.07 million shares through 56 transactions, with a turnover of BHD 2.6 million.
