Mubasher: The main index of the Bahrain Bourse lost 2.03% or 23.19 points in the week ended 8 September, reaching the level of 1,143.32 points.
The industrial sector dropped 12.89%, as Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) fell 15.09%.
Similarly the investment and banking sectors declined 2.01% and 1.17% respectively, as Al Baraka Group, Bahrain Islamic Bank lost 8.43% and 17.17% respectively.
Total traded volume decreased to 9.79 million shares compared to 16.53 million last week, as turnover also declined to BHD 2.03 million from last week’s BHD 2.26 million.
The banking sector dominated 64.29% of total trade, followed by the services sector with 15.23%.
