Mubasher: The main index of the Bahrain Bourse (BHB) edged down 0.38% or 5.12 points to end Tuesday’s session at 1,332.98 points.
The tourism sector fell 1.07%, dragged by Gulf Hotels which lost 1.64%.
The banks sector also went down by 0.64%, in line with the fall of both Ithmaar Holding and NBB which retreated 8.33% and 1.34%, respectively.
Meanwhile, the industrial sector was the only gainer with a rise of 2.52%, on the back of Alba which went up 2.63%.
Liquidity shrank to BHD 1.31 million, while trading volume increased to 5.58 million shares.
Alba was the most active stock on which 2 million shares were traded at a value of about BHD 614,540.
