Mubasher: The main index of the Bahrain Bourse rose 0.15% or 1.98 points on Wednesday to close at the level of 1,350.552 points.
The industrial sector increased 2.30%, backed by Alba which levelled up 2.38%.
The banks sector also added 0.96%, supported by Ithmaar and Ahli United Bank which advanced 5.88% and 1.42%, respectively.
The services sector grew 0.43% after Nass Corporation and Batelco went up 3.08% and 0.75%, respectively.
On the other hand, the investment and tourism sectors lost 1.95% and 1.18%, respectively.
Total traded volumes rose to 7.69 million shares from 2.91 million shares on Tuesday, while traded values decreased to BHD 1.77 million from BHD 755,170 million yesterday.
Ithmaar Holding was the most active in terms of traded volue by 2.63 million shares, while Ahli United led the traded value with BHD 880,500.
