Bahrain Bourse falls 0.29% at close

Mubasher: The Bahrain Bourse’s main index declined at Wednesday’s close by 0.29% or 3.47 points to the level of 1,207.67 points.

Trading volume increased to 7.92 million shares from 3.77 million shares exchanged on Tuesday, turnover also rose to BHD 823,330 from BHD 354,590.

The industrial sector dropped 5.99% as Alba fell 6.25%, the investment sector shrank 0.12% as Al Baraka Group declined 1.03%.

The services sector advanced 0.03% due to an increase of 0.95% in Seef Properties.

Meanwhile, the commercial banks sector rose 0.29% as Khaleeji Commercial Bank, up 9.46%, topped gainers and Ahli United Bank advanced 0.78%.
