Mubasher: The main index of the Bahrain Bourse fell at Wednesday’s open by 0.49% or 5.98 points to the level of 1,205.35 points.
Trading volume reached 270,600 shares exchanged at BHD 32,500 through nine transactions.
By 10:35am Manama time, the investment sector dropped 1.4%, and the services sector declined 0.66% as Batelco fell 1.41%.
The commercial banks sector also retreated 0.06% due to a fall of 9.36% in United Gulf Bank, the worst performer, while Khaleeji Commercial Bank topped gainers by adding 2.82%.
