Mubasher: The main index of the Bahrain Bourse rose at Sunday’s close by 0.86% or 10.25 points to the level of 1,196.45 points.
Trading volume increased to 1.399 million shares from 623,750 shares exchanged on Thursday, while turnover decreased to BHD 187,205 from BHD 372,330.
The services sector grew 1.07% as Seef Properties advanced 5%, Bahrain Cinema leapt 3.20% and Batelco rose 0.71%.
The commercial banks sector levelled up 0.94% due to a 2.36% rise in Ahli United Bank.
The investment sector increased 0.93%, backed a growth of 8.99% in Al Baraka Group.
The hotel and tourism sector rose 0.52% as Gulf Hotels advanced 0.79%.
Ithmaar Bank led the red list after falling by 4%.
