Mubasher: The main index of the Bahrain Bourse (BHB) ended Thursday in the green zone, rising 0.41% or 5.44 points to reach 1,325.20 points.
The index grew on the back of the banks sector, as traded volume reached 5.256 million shares at a turnover of BHD 2.019 million through 108 transactions.
Aluminum Bahrain (ALBA) was the most active stock in terms of trading volume with 1.52 million shares exchanged and a liquidity of BHD 645,207.
The banks sector rose 1.76% as Ahli United Bank and Ithmaar Holding gained 3.68% and 3.57%, respectively.
On the other hand, the investment sector fell 1.07% after Arab Banking Corporation (ABC) retreated 6.45%.
