Mubasher: The main index of Bahrain Bourse (BHB) edged down 0.02% or 0.22 points to end Wednesday’s session at 1,310.04 points.
The banks segment fell by 0.16%, dragged by Khaleeji Commercial Bank which lost 2.83%, as well as Al Salam Bank and AUB which retreated by 2.42% and 0.70% respectively.
Meanwhile, the services segment gained 0.31% in the back of Nass which rose by 2.80%.
BHB’s turnover shrank to around BHD 506,870 after trading volume decreased to 2.74 million shares.
Al Ithmaar Holding was the most active stock on which 750,000 shares were traded.
AUB recorded the highest turnover that amounted to about BHD 5022,320.
