Mubasher: The main index of the Bahrain Bourse maintained its early morning gains, and ended Sunday’s trading session in a rise, on the back the four sectors.
The benchmark index added 0.58% or 7.65 points, and closed at the level of 1,332.84 points.
The banks sector index led today’s gains and rose 0.88% as Ithmaar Holding and Ahlu United Bank (AUB) grew 3.45% and 1.42% respectively.
On the other hand, only the services sector ended the session in the red zone, as it lost 0.45%, as Batelco was the session’s top loser and declined 1.52%, despite that Nass Corporation led the gainers and surged 4.48%.
Traded volumes decreased to 2.7 million shares compared to 5.3 million shares last session, while traded values shrank to BHD 594,800 down from BHD 2.019 million on Thursday.
