Mubasher: The Bahrain Bourse’s general index went down by 56.24 points, or 3.64%, to close at 1,490.39 points, pushed down by the banking and investment sectors.
The commercial banking sector declined by 6.64%, while the investment and services sectors inched down 0.08% and 0.07%, respectively. The industrial sector grew by 0.45%.
Trading volume reached 20.53 million shares, while liquidity amounted to BHD 5.29 million.
