Mubasher: The Bahrain Bourse opened Sunday's session on a positive note, backed by the rise of services and investment sectors.
The general index rose 0.04% or 0.49 points to reach 1,199.31 points by 9:35am Bahraini time.
The services sector gained 0.07% as Bahrain Telecommunications (BATELCO) went up 0.61%.
The investment sector advanced 0.11% as Al Baraka Banking Group added 1.07%.
The market saw trading of 670,000 shares through 11 transactions, with a turnover of BHD 420,320.
