Mubasher: Bahrain Bourse’s benchmark index fell by 0.37% or 4.19 points to close at 1,122.71 points on Wednesday, squandering gains from the last couple of sessions.
The market’s liquidity reached around BHD 469,318 as trading volume totalled 171,821 shares which were traded through 40 transactions.
The services sector topped the gainers by a rise of 0.97%, backed by Bahrain Cinema which gained 9.52%.
Meanwhile, the industrial sector topped the decliners as it dived 3.31%, dragged by Alba which lost 3.47%. The investment sector fell by 0.51%, as Al Baraka levelled down 4%. The banks sector dropped 0.97%, after Khaleeji Commercial declined by 1.61%.
