Mubasher: The main index of the Bahrain Bourse leapt at Wednesday’s open by 0.13% or 1.62 points to the level of 1,212.75 points.
By 10:30am Manama time, 1,630 shares were exchanged at BHD 266,330 through 24 transactions.
The commercial banks sector advanced 0.34% as Khaleeji Commercial Bank, up 1.35%, topped gainers and Ahli United Bank grew 0.78%.
On the flipside, the investment sector dropped 0.11% due to a fall of 1.03% in Al Baraka Group, the worst performing stock.
