Mubasher: The main index of the Bahrain Bourse closed Wednesdays trading with an increase of 0.27% or 3.22 points to the level of 1,187.64 points.
Trading volume declined to 1.382 million shares from 2.75 million shares exchanged on Tuesday, turnover also decreased to BHD 275,729 from BHD 438,624.
The investment sector grew 0.57%, backed by a rise of 2.04% in GFH Group and 1.14% in Al Baraka Group.
The banks sector leapt 0.55% as National Bank of Bahrain and Khaleeji Commercial Bank rose by 2.17% and 1.67% respectively.
Meanwhile, the services sector dropped 1.01% due to a 2.11% fall in Batelco.
