Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Bahrain Bourse closed Tuesday’s session rising by 0.74% or 9 points to the level of 1,229.38 points.
Trading volume increased to 4.04 million shares 1.93 million shares exchanged on Monday, turnover also rose to BHD 658,160 from BHD 374,770.
The investment sector grew 1.4% as United Gulf Bank topped gainers with a 9.7% rise.
The commercial banks sector levelled up 0.7% due to an increase of 9.6% in Al Salam Bank, while Khaleeji Commercial Bank, down 1.9%, topped the red list..
Meanwhile, the industrial sector fell 0.64% as Alba declined 0.67%.
