Mubasher: The main index of the Bahrain Bourse leapt at Monday’s close by 0.94% or 11.12 points to the level of 1,192.12 points.
Trading volume increased to 2.14 million shares from 937,780 shares exchanged on Sunday, turnover also rose to BHD 285,270 from BHD 263,390.
The investment sector grew 1.84%, backed by an increase of 8.33% in GFH Group, best performing stock.
The commercial banks sector levelled up 1.08% as Al Salam Bank grew 5.62% and Ahli United Bank (AUB) rose by 1.57%.
On the other hand, the services sector dropped 0.57% due to a 1.39% fall in Batelco.
Al Salam Bank made the biggest trading volume activity of 1.07 million shares, while AUB made the highest turnover of BHD 112,580.
