Mubasher: The main index of Bahrain Bourse (BHB) gained 0.21% or 2.86 points week-on-week to reach 1,356.22 points by the week ended on 13 April.
The banks segment gained 1.5%, endorsed by BBK and BisB which rose by 10.06% and 6.43%, respectively.
The services sector also levelled up by 0.14%, on the back of Nass Corporation which gained 5.97%.
Meanwhile, the investment sector declined by 1.76%, dragged by ABC which dropped 8.57%.
The industrial segment lost 0.9%, in line with the 0.93% fall of Alba.
Over this week, the BHB’s turnover shrank to BHD 4.46 million from BHD 6.05 million in the past week, as the trading volume decreased to 18 million shares from 34 million.
AUB was the most active stock during the week, with a volume of 7.39 million shares traded a value of BHD 2.05 million.
