Mubasher: Bahrain Bourse closed Tuesday’s trading session in the green, backed by the growth of blue chips.
The general index rose 0.76% or 8.94 points to reach 1,181.67 points.
The market saw trading of 1.51 million shares through 51 transactions, with a turnover of BHD 355,650.
The investment sector topped gainers with a 2.38% rise, backed by Arab Banking Corporation (ABC) and GFH Financial Group which increased 9.6% and 2% respectively.
The banks sector went up 0.64% as National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) advanced 2.8%.
On the flipside, the industrial sector retreated 1.85% after Aluminum Bahrain levelled down 1.94%.
