Bahrain Bourse settles in red zone mid-session

Mubasher: The benchmark index of Bahrain’s stock market marginally levelled down by 0.27% or 3.30 points to settle at 11:40 am local time.

Turnover amounted to about BHD 172,600 with trading volume of 1.03 million shares that were traded through 29 transactions.

The banks sector retreated 0.57%, dragged by Al Salam, Khaleeji Commercial, and AUB which fell by 2%, 1.64%, and 0.72%, respectively.

Batelco declined 0.63% to drag the services sector down by 0.30%.

Bahrain Kuwait Insurance jumped 8.47% to help the insurance sector rise 2.39%.
