Mubasher: The Bahrain Bourse saw a negative performance this week, weighed down by the fall of four sectors led by the industry.
The main index retreated 0.27% or 3.23 points to reach 1,188.7 points.
The industry sector fell 2.49%, followed by the services sector at 0.35%.
The investment sector shed 0.18%, while the commercial banks sectors added 0.03%.
Trading volume reached 6.52 million shares this week, compared to 14.16 million shares last week. Turnover stood at BHD 1.09 million, compared to BHD 2.55 million.
The banks sector was the value leader after generating around 68.74% of the market’s total weekly trades.
