Mubasher: Bahrain Bourse’s (BHB) All Share Index closed down for the second week in a row, losing 1.10% or 13.45 points to settle at 1,213.73 points during the week ended 10 December.
Bahrain Islamic index retreated 0.25% or 2.03 points to close at 795.50 points during the week.
Trading value increased 31.8% to BHD 1.49 million ($3.9 million) as compared to BHD 1.13 million ($2.98 million) in the previous week.
Trading volume stood at 8.8 million shares traded through a total of 186 transactions, a daily average of 1.76 million shares.
The banks sector retreated 0.4%, dragged by Al-Salam Bank which lost 3.3%.
The investment sector also dropped 0.24%, as Al-Baraka Group levelled down 3.6%.
Meanwhile, hotels and industrial sectors gained 0.06% and 2.7% respectively, during the week.
