Mubasher: The main index of the Bahrain Bourse leapt at Thursday’s close by 0.89% or 10.5 points to the level of 1,191.95 points.
Trading volume decreased to 4.6 million shares from 4.8 million shares exchanged on Wednesday, turnover also shrank to BHD 679,900 from BHD 726,088.
The services sector rose 1.98% as Batelco grew 1.3% and the industrial sector advanced 1.26% as Alba ascended 1.32%.
The commercial banks sector levelled up 1.08% due to an increase of 7.4% in Bahrain Islamic Bank, eh best performing stock, and Khaleeji Commercial Bank rose 4.92%; the stock made the biggest trading volume activity of 1.9 million shares.
Bahrain Commercial Facilities made the highest turnover of BHD 195,030.
