Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Bahrain Bourse leapt in Thursday’s mid trading by 0.42% or 4.77 points to the level of 1,138.89 points.
By 11:00 AM Manama time, trading volume reached 1.022 million shares exchanged at BHD 193,560 through 17 transactions.
The industrial sector was the best performer after adding 3.4% as Alba grew by 3.57%.
The banks sector also advanced 0.39% as Ahli United Bank increased 0.79%.
The investment sector grew 0.13% due to a 1.09% increase in Al Baraka Group.
Meanwhile, the services sector declined 0.09% as Seef Properties fell 0.97%.
