Mubasher: Bahrain Islamic Bank (BIS) posted on Wednesday a year-on-year fall of 73.1% in its net profit for the second quarter of fiscal 2016.
Net profit reached BHD 1.37 million ($3.6 million) in Q2-16, versus BHD 5.1 million in Q2-15, according to a bourse filing.
In the first half of fiscal 2016, net profit amounted to BHD 3.08 million, compared to BHD 8.2 million in the same period of 2015.
The bank earlier reported a net profit of BHD 1.71 million for Q1-16, 44.5% down from BHD 3.08 million for Q1-15.
