Mubasher: Bahrain Bourse fell in the first week of December, due to the collective decline in main sectors specially industry.
The main index lost 0.45% or 5.6 points to close at 1,227 points.
Islamic index fell by 1.9% or 15.7 points to 797.5 points.
Sameh Gharib, head of technical analysis at Roots Securities, expected the index to move within a tight range in the coming period.
The analyst defined primary resistance at 1,260 points and first support at 1,240 points.
The weekly turnover rose by 10.7% to BHD 1.135 million ($2.9 million), from BHD 1.025 million ($2.7 million) a week earlier.
Traded volume rose to 7.8 million shares from 7.7 million shares.
The industrial sector was the biggest loser (-4%), due to Alba (-4.2%). The investment sector also lost 0.57% after Al Baraka fell by 0.88%. The services sector declined by 0.14% due to Batelco that shed 1.9%.
