Bahrain bourse declines in early trading, pressured by banks

Mubasher: Bahrain Bourse fell in Sunday’s morning trading, hurt by the negative performance of the banking sector.

Bahrain’s benchmark index lost 0.32% or 3.8 points to reach 1170.48 points at 12:30 Bahrain time.

A total of 199,123 shares were traded at BHD 58,940.

Ahli United Bank led losers with a fall of 1.45%. BBK also shed 0.56%.

Meanwhile, GFH advanced by 2.63%, rising to the first rank among most actives with a traded value of BHD 20,560.
