Mubasher: Bahrain’s Ministry of Health reported that three Bahraini females have tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), confirming the total number of infections in the kingdom at 26, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) said on Wednesday.
The females were amongst those who arrived from Iran to Bahrain International Airport via non-direct flights.
The patients were immediately transferred to a medical centre to receive proper care and treatment. All individuals who were in contact with those cases were quarantined as a precautionary measure after they tested negative for the virus.
Moreover, the ministry noted that all infected cases are under constant medical observation by a specialised medical staff, adding that they had landed in the kingdom before the Civil Aviation Affairs (CAA) suspended all indirect flights from Iran.
