Mubasher: The main index of the Bahrain Bourse rose at Sunday’s close by 1.6% or 19.81 points to the level of 1,259.55 points.
Trading volume increased to 8.39 million shares from 3.95 million shares exchanged on Thursday, turnover also rose to BHD 1.29 million from BHD 587,180.
The commercial banks sector advanced 2.85% as Ithmaar Holding, up 8.6%, topped gainers.
The investment sector levelled up 1.45% due to an increase of 8.4% in GFH.
The services sector ascended 0.25%, backed by a rise of 5.26% in Nass and 0.96% in Seef Properties.
Meanwhile, the industrial sector fell 3.9% as Alba topped losers after falling by 4.05%.
