Mubasher: The main index of the Bahrain Bourse rose in Wednesday’s mid trading by 0.18% or 2.25 points to the level of 1,231.64 points.
By 11:00am Manama time, trading volume reached 2.49 million shares exchanged at BHD 593,320 through 41 transactions.
The industrial sector grew 1.94%, backed by an increase of 2.03% in Alba; the commercial banks sector leapt 0.44% as Ithmaar Holding topped gainers with a 6.45% rise.
Meanwhile, the services sector declined 1% due to a fall of 2.1% in Batelco. The investment sector shrank 0.04%.
