Mubasher: The main index of the Bahrain Bourse rose at Wednesday’s close by 0.36% or 4.4 points to the level of 1,233.78 points.
Trading volume reached 4.06 million shares exchanged at BHD 772,810, compared to 4.04 million shares exchanged on Tuesday at BHD 658,160.
The industrial sector grew 1.94% due to an increase of 2.03% in Alba, the commercial banks sector ascended 0.83%, backed by a rise of 6.45% in Ithmaar Holding, the top gainer, and 1.6% in Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait.
On the other hand, the services sector declined 0.91% as Batelco shrank 2.1%, the investment sector dropped 0.16% as Esterad Investment, the top loser, retreated 9.5%.
