Mubasher: The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) said that the monthly treasury bills issuance worth BHD 35 million was subscribed.
This issue is on behalf of the Bahraini government, and has a six-month duration period starting from 5 March to 3 September, according to a recent statement.
“The weighted average rate of interest is 2.36%, compared to 2.37% for the previous issue on 5 February 2017,” the statement added.
The CBB clarified that the approximate average price for the issue was 98.819%, with the lowest accepted price being 98.813%.
