Mubasher: The value of Bahrain’s non-oil imports increased to BHD 430 million in October, up 11% from BHD 388 million recorded in September, according to official data.
The country’s national exports amounted to BHD 133 million, down 8% or BHD 12 million from BHD 168 million in September. Meanwhile, re-exports reached BHD 131 million, up 30% or BHD 30 million from BHD 101 million.
Japan comes first in terms of value of Bahrain’s imports with BHD 72 million (17% of total imports. It is followed by China (BHD 55 million) and the U.S. (BHD 37 million).
