Mubasher: The Southern Governorate of Bahrain is set to host a forum promoting investment and tourism in late September.
The event, which will be held on Thursday, 27 September, will be chaired by Southern governor Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa, according to Bahrain News Agency (BNA).
The forum will mainly focus on promoting the Southern Governorate locally, regionally, and internationally, said Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Romaihi, investment development chief and head of the tourism, investment, and infrastructure development committee.
New initiatives and projects are to be announced during the forum to develop tourism and heritage sites and to launch promotional plans aimed at highlighting the potential of the Southern Governorate, BNA reported, citing Al-Romaihi as saying late Saturday.
