Mubasher: Bahrain Bourse’s general index fell in today’s mid-session, pressured by the decline of industrial and insurance sectors.
Bahrain’s benchmark dipped by 0.19% or 2.27 points to 1175.96 points.
Bahrain Islamic index lost 3.72 points or 0.49% to 753.18 points.
A total of 731,000 shares were traded at BHD152,800 through 32 transactions
Industry index headed today’s decliners losing 9.43 points, affected by Alba decline by 1.84%.
Insurance index lost 0.51%, or 8.36 points, due to Al Ahlia Insurance decrease by 4%.
The investment index fell by 0.14% or 0.88 points.
Banking sector also dipped by 0.07% after the decline of Bahrain and Kuwait Bank by 0.55%.
Meanwhile, services index rose by 0.36% or 4.7 points, backed by Seef Properties and Batelco that rose by 0.52% and 0.65% respectively.
