Mubasher: The benchmark index of Bahrain Bourse closed Monday in green backed by Ahli United Bank and GFH.
The general index ended 0.2% or 2.31 points higher to reach 1174.11 points.
Bahrain Islamic Index also rose by 0.08% gaining 0.64 point to reach 773.89 points.
Market capitalisation increased to BHD6.964 billion ($18.6 billion), compared to BHD6.95 billion ($18.56 billion) by the end of the previous session.
Trading volume was 959,600 shares in today’s session, compared to 728.12 million shares on Sunday.
Turnover rose to BHD233,600 compared to BHD159.62 million in last trading session.
Commercial banks sector topped winners by 0.32% and investment sector rose by 0.24% or1.54 points to 638.25 points, while services sector lost 0.09%.
