Mubasher: The benchmark index of Bahrain Bourse continued its losses for the third session in a row on Thursday, dragged down by the banks sector.
The index dropped 0.25% or 2.94 points to close at 1,165.49 points, approaching the levels of May 2013.
Bahrain Islamic index closed in green after inching 0.05% up to 769.14 points.
Liquidity decreased to about BHD 79,400 as trading volume fell to 199,000 shares.
The market cap decreased to BHD 6.90 billion.
The banks sector led the decliners with a decrease of 0.55%, after the AUB and BBK dropped 1.6% and 2.03% respectively. The services sector retreated 0.06%.
Meanwhile, the hotels and tourism sector ended the session with a rise of 0.29%, as Bahrain Tourism increased 0.29%.
