Bahrain Bourse’s main index retreated by 0.49% or 5.53 points to close at 1,127.14 points on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Bahrain Islamic index rose by 0.26% or 1.96 points to reach 758.9 points.
Today’s liquidity declined to around KWD 217,800 as trading volume decreased to 522,100 shares.
The banks sector led the decliners by shedding 1.17%, dragged down by NBB and AUB which lost 1.68% and 1.6% respectively.
The investment sector levelled up 0.25%, after GFH rose by 2.27%. Similarly, the insurance sector grew 0.29%.
