The benchmark index of Bahrain Bourse remained in the green zone on Wednesday, backed by Batelco, Khaleeji Commercial, and NBB.
The main index gained 0.24% or 2.76 points to close at 1,158.59 points. Bahrain Islamic index inched 0.07% up to 754.51 points.
Today’s turnover grew to about BHD 276,110 as trading volume stood at 1.34 million shares.
Market cap amounted to BHD 6.867 billion.
Meanwhuile, the services sector levelled up 0.86%, as Batelco rose by 2%. The banks sector gained 0.23% as both Khaleeji Commercial and NBB rose by 3.33% and 0.7%, respectively.
AUB was the most active stock as it reached about $137,490 after nearly 220,890 shares were exchanged through six transactions. The stock closed at $0.620.
