Mubasher: The Bahraini imports and exports totalled BHD 3.2 billion during 2015, according to latest data from the ministry of interior customs affairs.
The Gulf Arab country’s imports amounted to BHD 1.53 billion which formed 48% of the total trade exchange.
Meanwhile, local exports and re-exports totalled BHD 1.67 billion, making up 52% of the overall trade transactions.
With exports worth BHD 70.2 million, Saudi Arabia ranked the first among the GCC countries , followed by Kuwait then UAE as they achieved exports of BHD 18 million and BHD 7.6 million, respectively.
