Mubasher: The Bahraini transport ministry has launched six new routes which will be operated by Bahrain Public Transport Company.
The network features new connections and destinations including Bahrain Bay, Sitra, Karbabad, Nabih Saleh, the Lost Paradise of Dilmun Water Park, and Al Areen Wildlife Park, according to the Bahrain News Agency.
“The public bus network is one of the Ministry’s main strategic projects which aims to provide attractive and efficient alternatives to Bahrain’s transport demands,” assistant undersecretary for land transport affairs Nada Yousif Abdulatif said.
The Bahraini transport ministry is working on several developmental projects to improve the efficiency and quality of public transport network.
“We are committed to continually upgrading the public transportation system in a sustainable manner to enhance the passenger experience,” Abdulatif commented.
