Mubasher: The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) said that this week’s issued treasury bills of BHD 70 million have been subscribed by 100%.
CBB noted that the bills, which were issued 16 December, have a maturity of 91 days until 16 March, 2016.
Interest rate of those bills is 1.75%, compared to 1.80% for the previous issuance on 9 December.
CBB said “The approximate average price for the issue was 99.560% with the lowest accepted price being 99.444%.”
The total outstanding value of Bahrain’s treasury bills is BHD 1.710 billion.
