Mubasher: Bahrain plans to start providing fifth generation (5G) wireless technology services in June, the GCC nation’s minister of industry, commerce, and tourism, Zayed bin Rashid, said.
Al Zayani’s statement came on the sidelines of participating in the World Economic Forum on the Middle East and North Africa 2019 held in Jordan.
Earlier this month, Bahrain Telecommunication Company (Batelco) signed a partnership contract with Ericsson to launch 5G network services in various regions in the country.
