Mubasher: Bahrain Bourse sagged on Monday to continue a bear run to the fifth successive session.
The market was pressured mainly by bank stocks led by AUB, in addition to ABC in the investment sector.
The main index shed 0.4% or 4.81 points to close at 1,189.78 points.
Bahrain Islamic Index also slipped 0.64% or 5.06 points to end at 775.18 points.
The bank’s sector was the biggest loser, with a fall of 0.66%, pressured by AUB that was off 0.71%. Ithmaar stock was the worst performing stock with a fall of 6.9%.
The investment sector came second, with a decline of 0.43%, after ABC lost 1.16%. Esterad ended 4.85% lower.
