Mubasher: The main index of the Bahrain Bourse stood at Tuesday’s close at the level of 1,161 points, with an increase of 0.03 point.
Trading volume increased to 2.29 million shares from 1.77 million shares exchanged on Monday, while turnover decreased to BHD 323,980 from BHD 359,540.
The commercial banks sector rose by 0.11%, while the services sector declined 0.34%.
Ithmaar Bank grew alone by 9.09%, whereas Al Salam Bank and National Bank of Bahrain dropped by 1.15% and 0.71% respectively.
The services sector closed in red as Batelco slid 0.7%.
