Mubasher: The benchmark index of Bahrain Bourse rose till Thursday’s mid-session, extending yesterday’s gains, upheld by the investment and industrial sectors.
The index gained 0.41% or 5 points to settle at 1,209.9 points at 11:52 am Bahrain local time.
Turnover amounted to nearly BHD 98,900 with trading volume of about 507,800 shares which were traded through 33 transactions.
The industrial sector levelled up 2.12% as Alba gained 2.20%.
The investment sector rose 1.21% after Al Baraka and Investcorp grew by 3.64% and 6.45%, respectively.
Meanwhile, the banks sector retreated 0.08% as Bahrain Islamic Bank and Khaleeji Commercial Bank fell by 2.7% and 1.45%, respectively.
