Mubasher: The Bahrain Bourse (BHB) closed Wednesday in green, after falling for two sessions in a row.
The benchmark index rose 0.03% or 0.35 point to the level of 1,160.27 points. Bahrain Islamic Index also leapt 0.13% or 0.96 point to 757.43 points.
The banks sector grew 0.13% as Khaleeji Commercial Bank and Al Salam Bank advanced 3.45% and 1.11% respectively.
On the other hand, the investment sector declined 0.13% after a 0.9% decrease in Al Baraka Banking.
Trading volume rose to 1.8 million shares from 700,200 shares exchanged yesterday.
Turnover also increased BHD 1.14 million ($3.02 million) from BHD 284,000 ($753,436).
