Riyadh – Mubasher: The National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (Bahri) on Monday reported a profit of SAR 611.99 million for the first quarter of the year, a significant rise of 53.6% year-on-year from SAR 398.4 million.
Profits were up following a rise in operating revenues after the purchase and delivery of several oil tankers, added to an increase in the prices of crude oil transportation in the spot delivery market, the company said in a bourse filing.
Mubasher statistics show that these results are the highest quarterly gains in Bahri’s history.
