Riyadh – Mubasher: National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (Bahri) achieved profits worth SAR 504.18 million ($134.45 million) in the second quarter of 2016, 47.2% higher from SAR 342.48 million ($91.3 million) in the same quarter of 2015.
During the first half of 2016, Bahri reported net profit of SAR 1.1 billion as compared to SAR 740.89 million in the same period of 2015; a growth of 50.65%, the company said in a bourse statement.
The rise in earnings resulted from an increase in operating revenues as well as higher prices of transporting crude oil.
